Wheelchair Tennis in Atlanta

Wheelchair tennis is not limited to the top professionals. On the contrary, a lot of buzz is occurring at the grassroots level. This is especially true in Atlanta which boasts one of the largest populations of wheelchair tennis players in the United States.

With momentum gained from hosting the first Paralympic tennis competition held in the United States, Atlanta’s wheelchair tennis scene has shared popularity comparable to its able-bodied counterpart as the ALTA Wheelchair Tennis League remains one of only a few of its kind in the country.

All proceeds raised from this event will go toward continuing the development of Georgia Tennis Foundation wheelchair programs, and providing wheelchair tennis opportunities and programs for players of all ages and abilities and to distinguish Atlanta as the hub for wheelchair tennis in America.
